The Best Functional Quality Pen Money Can Buy May 5, 2007 James Koenig (Minnesota) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
For years I have been looking for a cheap yet quality pen that I could use at work and at home. It had to be comfortable, fit easily in my shirt pocket, have a quality tip, come in multiple colors, have several tip widths, and be affordable. I am happy to report that I have found all these qualities in the Zebra Model 301. This pen will quickly replace all your other pens and will be your favorite. I recommend buying in bulk, as others will quickly see the quality features of this pen and perhaps "borrow" it from you. It's best to keep plenty on hand. I especially like the click tip, rather than a swivel barrel, as most swivel barrel pens I have used tend to untwist making the tip retract into the barrel of the pen. I have a swivel barrel Cross pen set, and I much prefer the less costly Zebra pens. You will like them too. Jim "Konedog Koenig
Zebra Pens Are High Quality and Affordable March 11, 2007 James Koenig (Minnesota) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Zebra 301 Pens are the best quality, low-cost writing instruments available. As a student and as a clinician and writer, I have sought out a comfortable, affordable, quality pen. I have found such a pen in the Zebra 301 series. It has a smooth stainless steel barrel with a rubber grip near the tip for comfort. It has a pocket clip and has a clickable plunger to expose the writing tip. This is superior to twist pens which tend to untwist causing the writing tip to disappear. The pens come in three colors, red, black, and blue. All also come in fine and medium widths. If you want a quality affordable writing pen, this is the one to buy. You can buy more costly pens (Cross pens, etc.), but the quality will not be signisficantly greater than these Zebra pens. Buy them in bulk for economy. You will want to own more than one, for anyone who uses this pen will tend to slip it in their pocket. So buy a bunch of them and then if you "lose" several to friends, you will have many back-ups. The pens come with affordable ink barrel inserts as well. This is a terrific pen, cheap, and available at most Wal-Mart and office stores. Jim "Konedog" Koenig

Very pleased . . . March 10, 2005 Walter Reade (Appleton, WI United States) This is my new favorite pen. It is one of the few reasonably-priced pens that doesn't look cheap. It writes well, is sturdy, and feels good in the hand.
