didnt come with a remote January 9, 2009 Daniel Mcclain I got this as a gift for my girlfriends parents and when they opened it there was no remote inside the package. there was a slot for it but no remote. what a great christmas gift.
Don't waste your money January 8, 2009 Kim (Kentucky) I ordered the "Clapper Plus" for my 10 year old daughter for Christmas. It was the only gift she asked for, so despite reservations because of the negative reviews I had read, I ordered it anyway. What a waste of money! She can clap all day and it only occasionnaly works. And the remote control that was supposed to come with it was missing from the box. Save your money.
Clapper lamp switch January 7, 2009 A. Silkie (Asheville, NC USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Clapper is a very good product and reasonably priced. This is my second purchase. I would recommend that one buys the remote control version.
Clapped until my palms were red January 2, 2009 Slippers (Central New Jersey) I returned this item after contacting the manufacturer who walked me through a trouble shoot checklist and then advised me to return it to the point of purchase as the item was "defective". I clapped and clapped. Stood right on top of the receiver and it did not work. I returned it. Amazon refunded without incident and I did NOT order another one.
Awful January 2, 2009 John (Seattle, WA) Over 80% of the time I cannot get this thing to work via clapping, and when it does work, you have to clap extra loud. And yes, I've been practicing. Even the remote control is finicky about how you push the button! It's total garbage. This product is not ready for prime time.
