5 out of 5 stars Best freakin pen ever   July 7, 2008
er0k (Philadelphia, PA United States)
I got this pen from my boss, and at first I was a bit wary since the only pens I really like are the clicky kind. I like to click them and this one has no clicker, so I was like ahhhhhh crap! But then I started using it and it totally rULES! it's really smooth and grippy and stuff. It's a good pen but I wouldn't pay for it because it doesn't haev a clicker, but if you can get it for free you should definitely do it. However, I do NOT recommend stealing them from your boss!

5 out of 5 stars Nice Pens   May 12, 2007

These are smooth and dark. Excellent for writing and drawing. They last a long time too.

4 out of 5 stars Great pen but stay away from water   September 28, 2006
J. Suttles (Oklahoma City, OK United States)
These pens are very comfortable and glide very easily along the page. They leave deep, skip-free lines and are actually fun to use. The only problem is your page turns into an abstract watercolor painting if you get water on it. I've lost a few pages of school notes due to this. If you buy, keep it dry!

4 out of 5 stars Great feel for a large pen, but water soluble   September 2, 2006
John Schultz (Southest, USA)

The pen writes easily, smudges a bit but is fairly quick drying. Left-handers might think twice. It is a very large pen, with a good, rubberized grip.

Largest issue is that the ink appears to be water soluble, and can smear/run heavily if it comes into contact with liquid -- from rain to a busted water heater. It is not the best archival writer for this reason.

3 out of 5 stars Writes nice, but potentially messy   July 26, 2006
Luke Meyers (Seattle, WA USA)
These pens are pleasurable to write with and produce a satisfying, bold line very reliably. However, there are a couple of problems. First, the ink dries a little slowly and is therefore slightly prone to smearing -- not a big deal, but worth noting. More significantly, I've had several of these pens leak on me. The conical area just tipward of the grip gets covered in ink; I've had to throw away 3 or 4 out of a box of 12 for this reason so far.
