This is the discontinued second generation Rotring 600. It is no longer in production, and Rotring products are generally difficult to find in the US these days.
Regardless, this is the best fountain pen I've ever used. Its thickness is similar to an ordinary pen, but it has a solid, heavy weight due to its brass construction. The nib is smooth and glides easily over every kind of paper I've tried to write on.
