Poor FinishMarch 12, 2008 James Biggerstaff MD(Orange Park, FL United States) This pen was a beautiful pen until the 2nd day of use when the gold finish on the clip just disintegrated. The pen had no exposure to any chemicals and had only been on my desk, in my pocket or in my hand. Although it writes fine and I like the grip, I can't recommend it. I wonder if this is the reason they are on sale for half price?

I originially bought this pen for my office, as it was an absolutley eye appealing writing instrument. I got so many compliments I found myself buying more of these pens to give to people as gifts. They write so nicely too. My only complaint is that just like any fountain pen, you have to store it tip side up when the cartridge is installed to avoid leakage.
BOTTOM LINE: Buy this pen! At the price of one of the sellers ($69) you really can't go wrong - especially since this is a $95 pen.
