Product Description DECT 6.0 Technology means less Interference. Engineered to work in 1.9GHz frequency, our DECT 6.0 phones wont conflict with common wireless devices such as 2.4GHz routers, wireless keyboards and mouses, microwave ovens and other household items. And because its digital, youll enjoy long range and clear sound while deterring eavesdropping. Call Block.
Store the Caller ID info of any and all unwanted callers into your phones Call Block list so that you can eliminate future pesky calls from them. After their information is stored, theyll get a busy signal if they call you again. Silent Mode.
Now you can program each handset to ring or not at your discretion. For example, before you go to sleep, set the bedside handset to Silent Mode so that it wont ring for the duration of your slumber. In the meantime, the handset in another room is unaffected, and rings as usual. Talking Caller ID/Talking Alarm Clock/Talking Battery Alert. Now you dont have to be holding the phone to see whos calling; using text-to-speech technology, the caller ID information is announced in between rings! The phone also boasts an alarm clock that speaks to you, as in Its time for lunch. And the phone politely tells you when your battery is low with a Please charge phone reminder.

Good product. I used uniden before it but was having low voice quality but very good features. I will suggest panasonic to take some features from it...like ease of use for ordinary person, people who are not tech savvy...But overall Panasonic is a good product.
A Great Phone June 6, 2010 RL (New York) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought the KX-TG6433M after comparing it to many other 2.4 GHz, 5.8 GHz and DECT 6.0 phones. So many of the others seem to have a significant number of owners that complain of various problems in the reviews on Amazon. This phone had much lower percentage of bad reviews and that made me decide to give it a try.
This phone replaced several different 900 MHz spread spectrum phones that I was reluctant to give up because they worked well and didn't interfere with anything else in my house, like WiFi. But they used heavy, expensive NiCd batteries that are becoming hard to find and I decided it was time switch to newer technology.
Things I like about the KX-TG6433M.
+ The range is better than I expected. I have used the phones outside up to 250 feet from the house. At that range, there is a little static, but the sound quality is acceptable. This is about the same range I got with my 900 MHz phones. Inside the house, I have no trouble at all. The base unit is located on the first floor at one end of the house and I have no trouble using the phones in the basement or on the second floor, even at the far end of the house from the base unit.
+ The phones use inexpensive AA NiMH rechargeable batteries. I know I will never have trouble finding replacements.
+ The handset sound is good. My hearing isn't the greatest and I have trouble with the low volume level on some phones. The Panasonic is adequate for me. One of my 900 MHz phones could go a bit louder, but the other two were not as loud as KX-TG6433M.
+ The menus are relatively easy to use. My old phones could store up to 19 phone numbers and let you dial any one with just 3 key presses. The menu system on this phone takes a bit longer to get to a stored number. But it can store more numbers, so that's a trade off I'm willing to accept. And I can store the names of people with each number - something my old phones couldn't do.
About the only improvement I could wish for is a better quality speaker phone. The speaker in the handset is tiny, so it can't provide room filling sound way a real speaker phone can. People on the other end can definitely can tell that you have them on speaker phone. Your voice just doesn't come through as well when you aren't talking directly into the mic. This is not a major complaint in my book - just a wish for an improvement the next time around.
Love the features! May 29, 2010 Sam L. (Arlington, TX) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have had Panasonic 3 phones for a long time. Recently I had no phones, internet, or security system. I decided to start with new phones. After reading all of the reviews I decided this was the phone system I needed. They came very fast. Still no phone. The phone company came out and found a broken cable leading into my house. Once this was fixed I instantly had phones, internet, & security system. I wish I had ordered a four phone system as I found another area I would like a phone. So, checked with Amazon and instantly found one. It arrived before scheduled delivery date. I love the "talking" feature. I do not bother to answer my phone when it tells me "out of area". I am sure my older phones still work!* Love Panasonic & Amazon!.
Talky phone May 24, 2010 Kerstin M. Oman 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this phone primarily because it has a nice big screen which is easy for my husband (age 78) to read. The bonus is the audible Caller ID, along with the big letters. Thanks to that feature we can easily avoid calls from various charitable and political organizations we do not want contacting us. (We are on the national do not call list, but there are excemptions.) Further, with a few button pushes we can easily consign those unwanted numbers to Call Block. It's nice to have the phone back under OUR control for a change!!
It does take some work to figure out how to use the features of the phone, but that's something I've encountered with a lot of today's electronics. Feature creep/overload seems to come with everything these days!
I also appreciate that I only have to load my phonebook into one phone and have all three be able to use it. Our old Panasonic phone did not have that feature, and it caused some occasional problems with Caller ID.
Portable phones by Panasonic May 22, 2010 Mama Gigi (Metro Atlanta, Ga) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is my second set of Panasonics. I was annoyed with the prior set..by discovering it was out of warranty by one day! I had gone away or I would have carried the set back where I purchased it..with only a few days left on the warranty of 1 yr. The worst problem is the battery. The design of the phones and the operating system and convenience of use was never a problem. With about a year into use...the battery goes down frequently and drops calls. Now, the worst problem...the batteries are so expensive to replace that it's wiser to replace the phones. The same as an automobile! Transmission goes..time to replace. How wasteful this is! Panasonic would serve customers better by building a better longer lasting battery and by selling a replacement battery for the phone..cheaper. This will be my last set of Panasonics and I do hope they last longer than a year. At close to $80.00 and the previous set over $100.00..this is a luxury I can not afford!
