I am particular about pens. I was given this out of the blue as a present, which filled me with trepidation until I wrote with it. The tip moves across paper with a silky feel that I haven't experienced in other pens. I prefer a slight resistance, to keep the point from feeling too slippery, and this pen delivers what seems to me to be the perfect amount. The mechanical engineering is also fine - the pen has a solid, substantial feel without being too heavy. I also like the vanishing clip effect. This is, without a doubt, the most enjoyable pen I have ever used. It was the perfect gift for me.
