I've been using this pen for years and I love it! August 29, 2008 Jennifer (California) I have had problems with the end of the pen not working correctly, but it's minor compared to the freedom I finally have in writing! My right arm doesn't work well and I find that the heavier, more expensive pen is much more useful to me. With the cheaper, plastic one I have to press down on so much, but still they work better than ordinary pens. My mom likes the plastic ones as she doesn't have much strength in her hand.
Cool Product, Terrible ink May 14, 2008 Elaine Y. Chen (Los Angeles, CA) I am still trying to get used to holding this pen because I hold my pen differently than the way most people do, I bought this pen to correct for it. The pen is a great and innovative product, but the ink is really poor quality. The pen constantly seems like it runs out of ink, but I think there must just be air bubbles because of i tap the pen violently a couple of times, then the ink starts to flow again.
Great Help for the Disabled March 4, 2008 Linda D. (Oklahoma) This pen has been very helpful as my hands have become weaker and weaker. I am a polio survivor and now am experiencing Post-Polio Syndrome. PPS has caused less control and strength in my hands. Writing became impossible, every note, card or letter had to be done on the computer. Well not now, I can once again take notes at meetings! I first found this pen locally at a speciality store at about $10. Learning to use it correctly took a little bit for my hand to to adapt to, but once learned it greatly reduced the strain on the muscles and the spasms I get in my hands. I recommend this product for anyone with weakness or pain in their hands or that just want a cool looking pen. It may be a bit short but the refills are very inexpensive here at Amazon. Linda D.
Awesome writing experience February 15, 2008 Pen Freak (Ewa Beach, HI) I have always had some discomfort when writing even at an early age, but now once I started using the Ergosleek Metal PenAgain, Black that discomfort is fading away. Another thing that is of note, I always used to leave my pen on my desk and when I would leave to go and do something, someone else would take my pen, but now no one picks up this pen, mostly because they don't know what it is and would never expect it to be a pen. This is a great product and I recommend it to anyone who experiences discomfort in writing.
Great design, but doesn't last long January 28, 2008 Leslie Lawson (Piqua, OH United States) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I love the Pen Again and have purchased about half a dozen for use at home an at the office (I do estimates for a living and do a lot of writing). The ease of use of the design is great,it really helps me with my joint pain. However of the half dozen I have bought 4 of them are not held together with tape. The design of the nose of the pen that "Pops" up breaks very easily. There is a little nub inside that is designed to keep the nose piece from falling off when it is released to cover the pen. Those break off very easily just from normal use. I believe the company probably has solved the problem by making the new pens out of metal, but at $20 I am hesitant to purchase the metal model.
