This product is incredible for slaying Orcs. I've also been forced to use it when my Bo Staff broke and I was being attacked by a wounded Lyger. I would have to say that I prefer throwing stars to this hatchet when fending off flying attackers however. Also, a tip for the rest of you, two hatchets can be attached by small chain allowing you to wield a wicked set of nunchuks.

I searched all around and this was the best deal I could find for a tomahawk like this. The quality is excellent and it is very sharp. I haven't had it long, so I don't know how it holds up over time, but at this price point it is a great value. Sure, you could spend a lot more and maybe find a better one, but for the money this SOG tomahawk is the best choice in my opinion.

This is an great tool and pieced together well. The handle is plastic but it doesn't bother me. It's put together very well and I don't think I'll worry about just breaking like some people say. Worth the money, this thing is sweet.

very good balance, very sharp,i wrapped my handle for a better grip,i would prefer a more rounded blade , this how ever is not a deterant for this hawk, will be awesome should one encounter any zombies . . .

Nice design, handle seems sturdy, but I am not sure how durable the handle material is. The blade head is a little too thin to be used as a traditional hatchet. This limits the practicality of the tool. The SOG Tomahawk is good at severing branches and cutting down smaller saplings, however it would stick and was not very efficient at splitting 2 to 3 inch wood chunks.
