COPIC Multiliner- Set of 9 Pens (7 Fine Tips plus 2 Brush Tips)...COPIC Multiliner pens are made with pigmented black ink. This ink is both waterproof and COPIC marker proof. Drawings that have been done using COPIC Multiliner Pens can be colored with COPIC Markers without smearing or smudging the line drawing. You can also use them for drawings that will be colored in with watercolor. COPIC Multiliner Pens are made in sizes that match traditional technical pen sizes. This set comes with a 1.0 .8 .5 .3 .1 .03 and .05. It also includes two brush style pens- Fine and Medium. These brush pens have flexible knibs and they work just like a brush that has been dipped into black ink! You can get very fine lines broad strokes and painterly marks with the brush pens. I like the different sizes; there's enough variety to make it a set worth buying to get a lot of variable lines. The two brushes are also very handy and allow a lot more variation.
The only thing I don't like is that the ink doesn't seem to be permanent. When I ink a drawing I then go over it with an eraser to erase pencil lines, the ink comes up partially and doesn't make such a solid line. I've tried letting it dry longer, using it on lighter pencil marks, and using a different eraser. I think if I'd known the ink comes up with an eraser, I might not have bought them.

I've used other pens in the past, but these are great. Sure, they don't shoot lasers or anything but they are good for cartooning, which is what I do.

If you do any work with Copic Markers you need to get this set of pens. After using various sets of the Copic color markers with other pens, ie.. pigma microns, sharpie, and sakura microperm, I realized that all of them tend to bleed when I color over with markers. This really frustrated me because I spend a lot of time drawing detailed art. So, I got this set. THEY DON'T BLEED! I have used them on bristol, vellum, general purpose sketch pad, and fine grade sketch. They have a pretty consistent feel and flow throughout the various papers. I highly recommend these pens if you use Copic markers.
Pros:
-Good black color (not like the copper tint of a sharpie)
-Works well with Copic markers
-Little to no bleeding (depending on the saturation of the media)
Cons:
-Can't buy at most major art stores (ie... Michael's or Pat Catan's)
-Slightly expensive
