Great product September 3, 2007 D. Renstrom (Minneapolis, MN) Easy to write with, clean... only one bad thing is you have to throw away the pen when it's out of ink. Replacable ink cartridges are the only downfall of these pens.
These pens are the BOMB!! January 14, 2007 guitarman (southwest usa) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I'm a small time collector of fountain pens, and I'd rather use one of these than my Mont Blanc anyday. My wife and I buy these by the pack and hardly use anything else. The ink flows from these perfectly like a fine-tip fountain pen without skipping OR blotching, and, unlike so many other gel pens, it dries on the page almost instantly. Just don't use them on something glossy like a postcard. They will smear. But that's no different from any other gel pen, or fountain pen for that matter. Well worth your investment, this is a fine writing instrument indeed!
YOU CAN'T HAVE JUST ONE! July 29, 2006 Sissy Fuller Smith (Lumberton Texas) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This pen is awesome. I picked this pen up off a co-workers desk to sign my name and I was hooked. I had to have one in each color after that. For those of you who like gel ink pens this is the one to own. My job requires a lot of writing and I have bought 1000's of pens over the years. By far this is the best. All you have to do is use this pen one time to fall in love with it. The gel ink does not smear or run and it writes nice and smooth.
Great Pens August 19, 2005 scotts980 (United States) Never thought I'd write a review of a stupid pen, but these pens are the best. Made in Japan - which means high build quality. They don't leak, or run all over your hands, or leave blotches on the paper. The ink doesn't bleed through the paper and it absorbs into the paper quickly enough so that it doesn't smear. If you write on both sides of a composition book, you can do that with these pens, unlike some others that will bleed. The line quality is superb - a very uniform line width. You can tilt the pen at a very high angle when drawing or writing and still maintain line consistency. The writing tip lays down ink smoothly and it doesn't scratch against the paper. If you write quickly or slowly the ink will be put down evenly, even if you slow down and dwell in certain areas of the paper. The barrel is medium sized - not too small or too large. The rubber grip doesn't loosen up - it stays tight on the barrel and has a good feel. The weight is evenly balanced and it's not top heavy or tip heavy. Excellent pen for people that draw a lot and need a great line quality with no bleeding or line edge fringing. I love these pens. They belong in every artist's toolbox.
