It has good intentions...November 18, 2008 D. Thomas(Colorado) I got one of these pens and used it with a Rite in the Rain Level field book. It did all it was hyped to do. However, it's half plastic and half metal. The plastic part has treads that screw into the metal top. The plastic threads got messed up and I had to continually tighten it to keep it from falling apart. The pen did last two years before the plastic threads broke off completely rendering the pen junk. Spend the extra money and got the all metal tactical pen or the all metal bullet version. You'll have a pen that will last forever. Check out all their stuff on www.riteintherain.com.
